Hi All,

I read the Tutorial – Arduino and SIM900 GSM Modules from tronixstuff.com.
It is very informative and well written tutorial available for Arduino and SIM900 GSM Modules combination.

In this, One cell phone number is used to control the Arduino and communicate back to same number.
What if I want to change this communication number by sending certain command via SMS to Arduino so that Arduino will start sending information to new number.

No reason why this couldn't be done, you could add a command to change to a different pre-determined number.

Hi all,

I read your tutorial , first of all many thanks for the great guide!
do you know if it's possible to use the gsm modules with arduino mega 2560?
I tried with your sketch but it would appear that the shield does not communicate with Arduino,
instead with arduino uno works perfectly!

You may need to change the SoftwareSerial pins being used. Or if you are using hardware serial, change to software and use different pins.

We don't have a sketch for that, you will need to create it yourself.
